Most of the cleansers’ pH is alkaline due which we think is the basics for cleansing. Made with naturally originated surfactants derived from palm oil, Benton’s cleanser washes off dirt on your face to maintain healthy skin. Although a slightly acidic cleanser is less irritating for the skin, many people do not know that a slightly alkaline cleanser is a more preferable option for people with sensitive skin due to its effects of tightening and moisturizing properties.

    I've gotten two of these as free gifts with purchase lately, and it's fine but not great.

    The good: a little bit of this goes a long way... you need just a tiny amount to cleanse your entire face, which means you won't have to buy more every month! The foaming aspect makes it feel very soft on my face, and the scent is soft and unobtrusive.

    The bad: It's super drying on my skin. The bottle says that there are moisturizers in it to prevent drying/skin tightness, but they don't seem to be doing much for me. My skin starts feeling tight as soon as I wash it off, and I've had to add an extra daily serum step into my moisturizing routine to make up for it.

    Despite that, my sensitive combination skin doesn't seem to hate this cleanser and I haven't broken out at all after a week and a half of using it daily. I'm planning to switch back to my usual cream cleanser after a full two-week trial, but I'll keep this around as a backup in case I run out of my usual wash.

    I received this Benton Honest Cleansing Foam free for the purpose of testing and reviewing purposes from BENTON. I love this cleanser, it’s mild, doesn’t dry my face out and or make it feel tight. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, moisturized and soft. You only need to use a small amount it gently foams up on your face and wash it off very clean and smooth. It is formulated with natural surfactants, plant based oil-derived and dermatologically tested.

    I got a tester of this foam a long time ago and I'd been wanting to get the full size ever since, I really like the texture and how nicely it foams up. It doesn't make the skin uncomfortably tight and it's super easy to rinse off.
